Role Models are Resources–Meet One of Mine
Resources for internet marketers are not only tools and manuals. People are resources, too; they provide encouragement, motivation, and support as well as information and instruction.
When you are as picky as I am, you don’t honor too many people with the title ‘role model’. It usually takes a while, too– a test period–before that honor can be awarded. Perry Marshall is one of the bloggers I read early on, and I can truthfully say “I never looked back.”
He writes for intelligent, thinking people, i.e., he’s rather understated, so if you don’t like to be preached to, don’t tolerate being talked down to, resent being patronized, you’ll appreciate his quietly purposeful manner, whether he’s writing a blog post, a landing page, or anything else he puts his pen to.

Perry Marshall is THE person to go to when you want to learn about Adwords. Most people would acknowledge that he is the world’s leading authority, and he is the author of several books on the subject. This post is really aimed at Adwords, but, as he himself says, the principles apply to your email campaigns, as well, and his explanations are decidedly motivational. A role model is a person with whom you fit, someone you hear ‘loud and clear,’ and, above all, someone you respect. These three (now four) posts should convince you that Perry Marshall as role model just might be right for you, too.
